Working from a canal house on the Herengracht or a coworking floor off the Nine Streets has its charms, but it also has narrow staircases, no loading dock and almost nowhere to grab a proper team lunch nearby. DIS Daily Catering delivers a fresh office lunch straight to your door in the centre. We handle the planning, the dietary requirements and the carrying up; you keep working.
The canal belt is its own kind of workplace. Behind the gables of the Herengracht, Keizersgracht, Prinsengracht and Singel sit boutique law firms and notaries, ad agencies, design and PR studios and a steady stream of startups, plus the coworking buildings of the Nine Streets and the Jordaan where freelancers and small teams share a monumental staircase. It is a beautiful place to work and a tricky one to feed: car access is limited, the streets around Spuistraat, Rokin and Dam are busy, and the lunch options run from tourist sandwiches to a queue you do not have time for. We know the bridges and the one-way streets, and we deliver by electric cargo bike so a lunch on the Prinsengracht is as easy as one on the Haarlemmerstraat.

How the daily office lunch works between the canals
We deliver across the centre by electric cargo bike, from the Jordaan and the Nine Streets to the Haarlemmerbuurt and Oosterdokseiland, quiet and zero-emission through the canal-belt streets.

We deliver by electric cargo bike, across the narrow bridges and through the car-free streets, from the Singel to the Jordaan. Where a van cannot go, the bike can.

A vegetarian-forward weekly menu, made fresh that same morning in our own HACCP-audited kitchen. You see the dishes ahead on the live weekly menu, with the EU-14 allergens per dish.

Moves with your calendar
You pick the fixed days of your office lunch, two or three a week is fine. Adjust numbers up to two working days ahead (before 3 PM), and simply pause over the holidays.

Office lunch in Amsterdam Centrum: common questions
How do you get through the narrow streets of the city centre?
By electric cargo bike. It fits over the bridges and through the car-free streets, and it runs without emissions, so the zero-emission zone in the centre is no problem. Where we can stop and how we get in, we agree with you before the first delivery.
Where is the lunch made?
In our own kitchen at Haarlemmerplein 37, in the Haarlemmerbuurt. Our cooks make the weekly menu there every morning, under external HACCP audits. For an office in the centre, the trip from there is a short one.
What does an office lunch in the centre cost?
What lunch costs per person depends on what you choose: every price is on the price list. The daily lunch is for groups of 10 people or more. The whole centre lies inside the A10, so delivery is € 20.95 per delivery, excluding VAT. If you want to try it first, a trial lunch of up to three days comes with 25% off.
Our office is in a canal house without a reception. Where do you leave the lunch?
At the spot we pick together beforehand, for example the kitchen or a table by the entrance. Before the first delivery, tell us where that is, how we get in and who we can call.
Can you also cater drinks in a canal house?
Yes. Drinks, meeting lunches and office events in the centre are possible from 10 people, without a contract. We help you decide on the format, and if you want someone to serve, we add a host (€ 35.95 per hour, four hours minimum). Everything about events is under event catering.
Do you also deliver to the islands and the Plantage?
Yes. The Western Islands, Oosterdokseiland, the Eastern Islands and the Plantage all lie inside the A10, so delivery there is € 20.95 per delivery too. Not sure about your address? Use the postcode check at the top of this page.
