What does office lunch in Amsterdam cost?

Our daily lunch starts from € 7.95 per person per day; pantry stocking (drinks, snacks, fruit) from € 4.95. You pay per person per day, so you know exactly where you stand up front. Can I get a price without a sales call?

What exactly do I get? What's in a daily lunch?

Our most popular choice, the Chef's Menu, is a fresh per-person spread: seasonal salads, fresh bread, a warm dish and a dessert, handmade each morning in our own Amsterdam kitchen. Our menu is seasonal and changes every week. We also do buffets, big and small. What ends up on your plate is your choice; we'll help you shape it and send an accurate proposal. Is there a minimum order? Can you cater for a small team?

Our daily lunch works from just 10 people per day, up to offices of hundreds - and you pay per person per day, only on the days you choose. Don't need every weekday? That's fine: pick two or three fixed days a week, for example. Team growing? We simply scale up with you. Sales team away for a week? We just deliver less that week. Scaling up or down is rarely a problem - tell us how many you are and which days you want, and we'll find the best fit.

Where do you deliver? Do you cover all of Amsterdam?

Our delivery area covers all of Amsterdam and the surrounding region - Amsterdam Noord, Amstelveen, Buitenveldert and the rest of the city. We also deliver beyond that, towards Schiphol, Haarlem and Utrecht. Delivery cost depends on location and starts from € 20.95. Not sure? How fast can you deliver? What's the lead time?

For a fixed, ongoing lunch we usually start within a week of your trial lunch. After that, you order or adjust up to two working days ahead, before 3 PM - order Monday before 3 PM and you're set from Wednesday. In a hurry, or something changes last-minute? Just call or email us; we can often still sort it.

Do you cater for dietary needs and allergies?

Absolutely. Vegetarian and vegan are on the menu as standard, and almost all our dishes can be adapted for the 14 legal EU allergens, plus pregnancy-related needs and pork-free. Our weekly menu shows the allergens per dish. For non-severe allergies we prepare a separately made meal (€ 0.65 pp). Severe allergy or unsure? Let us know and we'll work out what's safe together.

Am I tied into anything? Can I easily change or cancel?

The trial lunch itself comes with no obligation: no automatic follow-up order, you're not tied to anything. If you carry on, we set it down in a simple, flexible service agreement - no rigid minimum term. You choose which days you want lunch (every weekday isn't required - two or three days a week is perfectly fine); you adjust numbers and days up to two working days ahead (before 3 PM), pause over holidays or when the team works off-site, and cancel with a reasonable notice period. We just ask for a little planning certainty, so we have enough chefs and hosts ready for you. The exact terms are in our terms & conditions.

How do I get started? Can I get a trial lunch first?

Very simple: you request a no-obligation trial lunch and we cater lunch for the whole office for up to three days at 25% off, so your team can taste it for themselves. Like it? We put together your menu and rhythm and usually start within a week. After that, ordering takes a few clicks; we handle the rest. Book your trial lunch or give us a call.

How does billing work?

You get one invoice weekly, at the end of the week, based on what was actually delivered that week, with VAT clearly itemised. The payment term is 14 days; a longer term is possible by arrangement, with an upfront deposit. We make sure the invoice is correct and easy to book in. Specific invoicing needs? Get in touch.

Does office lunch fall under the WKR scheme?

Yes - our daily office lunches usually fall under it. The WKR (werkkostenregeling) lets an employer spend part of its total wage bill on staff perks tax-free - the so-called 'free space' (vrije ruimte). A daily lunch delivered to the workplace, like ours, gets special treatment on top of that: the tax office values it at a low fixed amount per lunch (a few euros), regardless of what the lunch actually costs - so most of its real value never counts as taxed wages. A small daily contribution from employees can even offset that fixed amount entirely, keeping the lunch tax-free on both sides. In practice that makes a fresh, handmade lunch from us far cheaper after tax than the price suggests. We're caterers, not tax advisers: the exact effect depends on your wage bill and what else you run through the WKR, so confirm the numbers with your own bookkeeper or accountant.

Can you do occasional or event catering too?

Absolutely. Alongside daily lunch we do occasional lunch (now and then, no contract) and event catering for drinks, meetings, in-house events and photoshoots - from grazing platters and breakfast to a hot dinner at the office. On-site host service is available too, from € 35.95 per hour (minimum 4 hours). Tell us what you're planning and we'll make a proposal - get in touch.

We're an Amsterdam-based artisanal caterer that takes everything off your hands around food, drinks and in-house events. Everything is made fresh in our own kitchen every morning - no mass production. The menu changes weekly and with the seasons, so no one gets tired of it. We advise on diets and allergies.
